2009 PROJECT OF THE SOCIETY FOR THE PROMOTION OF EUROPEAN HUMAN RIGHTS MODEL ABROAD

 We have the strong wish to inform the populations of Middle East and in particular those of Israel that it exists in a place not far from Middle East another conception of social life and Democracy even if this conception remains to be achieved in this place. This conception is by far more adequate to reach Peace and Welfare that the current applied systems in our opinion. This place is the European Union whose conceptions and targets are contained in its Charter of Fundamental rights.

 European Union does not promote sufficiently its good ideas since its diplomatic representation abroad is still under construction and need to be strengthened.

In order not to waste precious time our Association decided to make educational programs out of European Union and we will start with Israel.

 The consecration of these educational programs should be an Artwork representing each article of the Charter by a multicolour design on a ceramic panel.

 

It must be noted that another association is doing a similar action but in the limits of European Union territory and without participation of local artists.

This Artwork representing the European Charter outside Europe should be of high professional quality. The artwork will be conceived by the children with the assistance of Jewish and Arab Artists and manufactured by Experts of ceramic industry having a proven experience in the achievement of urban furniture.

Ceramic panels will be placed by professional people on a wall to be visible from the public.

As a matter of fact, this wall will no separate people and will not be dedicated to part of a population. This wall should on the contrary unify all peoples in their aspiration for welfare and Peace as a result of the symbols covering the wall.

We intend to utilise a wall in Jerusalem which is sometimes viewed as a city where communities are too strictly divided.

 This art work of approximately 40 M2, would be magnificent and we strongly believe that the Municipality of Jerusalem will be proud to offer us a good place for it.

 We were nicely surprised by the competence of Balian Studio of Jerusalem managed by Mr Nishan Balian, which provides us with a very beautiful sample representing the article 37 of the Charter regarding the protection of Environment.  The ceramic is published herunder with the kind authorization of Balian Studio.

 This first sample gives a good idea of what could be the whole wall. We publish this sample with the permission of Balian Studio.
