 FEW FIGURES AND EVENTS TO UNDERSTAND

 A-ISRAEL

 GDP increase in Real Terms:%

This figures do not mean that Israeli cityzens have benefits of this increase.

Rank of Israel by the size of the proportion of poor people in its population:%

Israel ranks 48^th on 146 with this proportion of poor people

 France Example:

France has a better situation than USA or UK with a very smaller poor population thanks to social transfer and has a much better figure (6.2%) than USA or  United Kingdom (13.2%) .

The above mentioned situation is also reflected by the bad Gini Index of Israel

High Gini index reflects an unfair repartition of National revenue among the population.

In 2005 (last calculation) Israel ‘Gini Index reached 38.6 to 100. The best countries are Members of the European Union and include Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden with figure of of around 30 or less. A Special mention should be made for Denmark 24 and Sweden 23.

Israel has some features of an emerging country where Democracy is questionable. The citizens are not respected despite a total dedication of their life to their work and Nation.

The reaction of territories population could be easily understood with the following figures:

B-WEST BANK

46% of the West Bank population is poor. Such proportion is close of  those of Lesotho, Cameroon, Guinea, and worst than Bangladesh, Sudan, Benin.

On top this situation is worsened by a decreasing economic activity in % as it is shown below:

These figures are an objective fact leading to open conflict

 C-GAZA

As compared to Gaza West Bank is a paradise and we cannot be surprised by the aggressive attitude of the starving population of Gaza, which chooses HAMAS instead of Fatah.

Gaza is the poorest area of the world after Zambia.

80% of the population is poor.

This situation is aggravated by the decreasing activities in % as shown below which are worst th the disastrous figures of West Bank.

Democratic countries cannot leave the situation as it is. We should assist the poorest people of the world for human purposes and to Peace a chance.

 Israel seems unable to solve the problem with generally  very short term considerations based on the military option and probably also because of its social policy towards his own citizens.

  European Union and USA could only solve the problem by a direct economic intervention to improve the population situation. Welfare should quickly lead to more moderation and peace.

Anyway the leaders of West Bank and Gaza do not seem ready to manage the situation in a responsible way.

Economic Intervention to achieve projects should be made directly by private companies and States. We cannot be sure that Pakestinian leaders will properly invest any money granting.

Equipment could be delivered avoiding any direct money transfer. New industry should be managed by foreign experts in a first step.

As a matter of fact direct transfers could be diverted and invested in war equipment and this is not at all the objective to reach welfare and peace.

1- About War and Peace: Few historic considerations to avoid repeating errors of the past made by the old Europe

The efforts of Woodrow Wilson , the action of Gustav Stesemann and Aristide Briand first founders of the friendship between Germany and France were vain to avoid war.

The war if 1914-1918 was among others an opportunity for France to recover Alsace and Lorraine lost after the 1870 defeat.

The revenge of France led by Georges Clemenceau was organised without any long term and generous considerations despite the peaceful advices of President Woodrow Wilson of USA.

Germany  was condemned to pay an awful and huge amount of indemnity of 132 Billion Gold Marks. 

The humiliation of Germany wished By Georges Clemenceau was without limit and even the place of the peace treaty was determined in Versailles as a reference to France’s defeat of 1870.

None took into account that Germany was not anymore an Empire but a Democratic Republic “The Republic of Weimar”.

The economy of Democratic Germany suffered big economic troubles preventing indemnities payments and as a result France occupied Ruhr in 1923 to take by force mineral resources and industrial equipments.

The Democrat and peaceful Chancellor Gustav Stresemann wined the war against hyper inflation and maintained the democracy despite the violent Nazi attacks and substantial economic difficulties.

In 1926 Aristide Briand and Gustav Stresemann received together the Nobel Prize of Peace for their effort to consolidate Peace between France and Germany.

 Gustav Stresemann made all possible efforts to reduce the unbearable weight of the indemnities to be paid by Germany. His target was to neutralize the arguments of Adolf Hitler to take the power in Germany in a sprit of revenge.

 The unfair Versailles Treaty , the brutal military occupations by France of Ruhr and Rhenany to take resources by force and the insufficient reduction of the weight of indemnities and conditions requested by the Versailles Treaty paved the way of Hitler and generated the second world war.

 The stubborn spirit of France in particular and of other allies did not permit to avoid the progress of Hitler to take the power and then the Wold War II.

A more peaceful spirit of France, other allies in 1918 and after with men as Gustav Streseman and  WOULD HAVE PROBABLY permit to save near 65 000 000 lives.See details in the article regarding WW2 victims
