The Propagandist rewriting of History by the Right wing

The ideas of right wing that almost anyone of the left wing in France wants to fight must also be destroyed at the source of their radicalization in Europe.

Far Right Hungary was authorized to take the chair of the Council of the European Union, while questioning important fundamental rights of the Charter of the European Union including the treatment of Gypsies as sub-human to whom the forced labor is imposed together for unemployment and for ethnic reason.

The gags that were worn by the MEP’s to show their opposition to Hungary was pathetic, useless and certainly not in line with the seriousness of the situation.

Viviane Reding has rightly condemned the situation of Gypsies in France but she fails to do so elsewhere as in Hungary, Romania, Lithuania ... and we must be shocked by the silence of the European Commission when the EU Charter of the European Union is not respected by any member of the European Union.

The argument of the Commission seems to be too often that this is the responsibility of each member to apply the charter. This attitude is a lack of courage and European Union could become an anarchic space without laws especially when some of their members do not appreciate democracy.

We think that the Prague Declaration and the equivalent declaration by the European Parliament in 2008 have indirectly encouraged the radicalization of far Rightist ideologies in Eastern countries members of the European Union in the field of anti-social policies, racism, Xenophobia and the anti-Semitism by making a vulgar and simplistic trivialization of the History of Europe.

Moreover, the economic policies carried out without skills in Eastern countries plunged too often the peoples of these countries in a sustainable pauperism amplified by high prices and by the gradual disappearance of social services.

The problem of the future of the left wing is also at the European level and too member of the French Socialist Party have signed hopefully by ignorance together with the right wing the Declaration of the European Parliament of 2008 following the Prague declaration.

We must underline that the SPD members behaved with dignity in not signing this declaration. They probably know better than French what History means.

The most important is that this declaration has triggered infernal machinery, which is the step by step revision and rewriting of our History in the heart of the European Institutions.

This rewriting has a strong color and smell of Far right wing too often imposed by some Eastern Countries accepting with ease the active lobbying of Baltic Countries with a very benevolent apparent neutrality of many other Western European countries mostly governed by Right wing.

We cannot be surprised from the benevolence of some western countries when Prague Process was supported together by Nicolas Sarkozy and Margaret Thatcher.

Too many Eastern countries members of the European Union have become places of exaltation and nostalgia of the far rightist ideologies of the Past.

The ban of a part of History (which includes a part of Europe liberation in 1945) is understood as a license to come back to ideologies based on hatred and destruction which were formerly forbidden.

The existence sometimes of Ban of ideologies of hatred is not applied for far right ideologies, which could be forbidden and very generously tolerated.

The dishonest rewriting of History is diplomatically named "the reconciliation of the History of countries having lived under authoritarian regimes”.

The target of this phenomenon materialized by Commissions and conferences is the obfuscation by trivial assimilation of failed attempt of progress partly due to aggressive environment to the most destructive and racist ideology that had never existed in Human History.

This initiative demonstrates itself its high degree of inept nature since it established a quasi mathematical equivalence of two Historic phenomena.

This form is a typical aspect of Propaganda and certainly not of an historical approach.

The current mostly rightist European Union has vulgarly transformed History into a boxing ring for the settlement of accounts between the left and the right wings.

The obfuscation of the Holocaust resented by local populations of Eastern Europe is also clearly between the lines the purpose of this rewrite.

As for any humanitarian catastrophe, it is the honor of left wing to maintain intact the remembrance of the Holocaust as the achievement of what humankind is able to do at its lowest level and this in order to try to prevent humanity to fall down again in such decadence.
